All UNTWIST partners met in Bologna for the technical follow-up meeting and the field visit last May. During the first-day consortium meeting, the activities carried out by each of the partners were presented and the incipient results of the work carried out in each work package were shared. The action plan for the coming months was validated in order to meet the objectives set by the project, referring also to future steps.

UNIBO presented two H2020-funded projects 4CE-MED and CARINA that are linked to the UNTWIST Community and one national (Italian-funded) project called ARGENTO. For each project, A. MONTI presented the basic concept, the partners, and the main highlights of each project which can be found in our community section.
On the second day of the consortium meeting, a field visit was organized to show the progress of the different camelina varieties.

In the environs of UNIBO, we visited the testing laboratories and saw in detail the progress made in the study of camelina seeds.
To conclude the visit we had the opportunity to taste a camelina oil and a pesto developed by INRAE as well as a tasting of camelina honey developed by a student of the UNIBO university.
